CHECKFollow-up
Follow-up that doesn’t live in someone’s inbox.
Action owners update their actions and upload evidence in their own portal. CHECK reviews that evidence against your report and policies, drafts the chasers and the monthly memo, and shows the committee what’s overdue by department and age.
How it works
CHECK, step by step.
The action-owner portal
Owners sign in with a one-time code or your single sign-on and see only their own actions. They upload evidence and can ask for a new date or a reassignment, which an auditor approves. Department heads get a read-only view of their area.
Evidence, reviewed
CHECK reviews each submission against seven criteria, among them whether it matches the committed action, whether it is specific and recent, and whether it satisfies the policy. It won’t recommend closing an action it can’t ground in your report and policies.
Chasers and the monthly memo
Chasers firm up as actions age, drafted for you to send. CHECK writes the monthly follow-up memo to the Chief Audit Executive and the monthly report.
The committee view
Open and overdue actions by department, rating and age, in one table, ready for the audit committee.
On top of your GRC
Import your action register from Excel, or connect your GRC system to bring actions and engagements in and send closures back.
Stays with the auditor
Closure. CHECK recommends; the auditor agrees or overrides, and only a person closes an action, with a written reason.
What you get
- Follow-up memo to the CAE (.docx)
- Monthly follow-up report (.xlsx)
- Chaser drafts, firmer as actions age
- Reminder digests to action owners
Straight answers
- Can action owners update their own actions?
- Yes. Owners sign in to the action-owner portal with a one-time code or your single sign-on, see only their own actions, upload evidence and request new dates, which an auditor approves.
- Does CHECK close actions automatically?
- No. CHECK reviews the evidence and recommends. The auditor agrees or overrides, and only a person closes an action, with a written reason.
- Can CHECK work with our existing GRC system?
- Yes. Litmus can sit on top of your GRC system: import the action register, bring engagements in, and send closures back.
- Which languages does the portal support?
- English, Arabic and French. Each owner can switch the portal to the language they prefer.
The litmus test for trust.
